VIC Dealer selling banned cars to p platers

I just bought a car from dealer couple of weeks ago ... i am on my p plates and he sold me the banned car ... i gave him my licensce to transfer that car on my name ...but he didn't told me its any thing about banned ? I try to talk with that salesman but he is ignoring my call .. can i get my refund back

Did the salesman know you were on P plates? If yes, you may be entitled to your money back.

Yes he knows i was on my p plates i gave him my licensce to transfer registration on my name ... but he refuse to give my money back .. how can i get my money back

Take him to VCAT. Though giving him a license does not necessarily indicate he checked you were on P plates.
