Hi there,

I work for an office supply company that has a thirty day period for our customers to pay us. Problem is, we have a few customers that have outstanding balances lasting over 90 days. As a result, I'm chasing up debts all day.

Under Contract Law, can I modify my contract to request a credit card number, and to stipulate that the card will be charged after a period of 90 days in the event of non-payment?

Cheers

I don't see why not. Provided that you gain their express consent in your agreement to charge for their bills if they have not paid within 90 days.
