It's not fair on the kids to ask for long weekends unfortunately. It takes 4 hours for them to get to an airport from my ex's house, then it's a 4.5 hour flight to my city. I live 10 minutes from the airport, but the journey is too long for them to travel unless it is for more than a few days.
