Just wondering if a traffic case can be re heard.
My husband rear-ended another person and was charged with careless driving.
CCTV footage was provided and showed that the person in front applied the brakes in a panic, as a result, my husband hit her. This footage contradicted the other person's story however when this was brought to the attention of the police they said well it is done now and you will have to fight it in court.

The solicitor looked at everything and suggested to plea guilty as fighting could come with more serious consequences such as loss of licence. We took the advice of the solicitor and pleaded guilty. Big mistake. As the footage could not be used my husband ended up with a loss of licence for 9 months and a fine. This has really caused major financial issues as he needed a licence for his job and has impacted on been able to pick up his kids when it's his time have them.
So is it possible to have this re heard in court?
