Ok so from July to January, they were working on an estimate of $12 000?
So you were seriously underpaying for that 6 months based on an actual income of $80 000.

I only earned approx $12,000 up until January 17. I couldn't sustain myself paying $170 a fortnight in Child Support when I only received $380 a fortnight on Newstart.

Its not my actual earnings that are causing the massive debt. It's their 'annualised' and 'expected ' earnings calculations that are. Those numbers are what I'm objecting to.

I think the problem you are having with them is that you told them you'd be making $57,000 for the 'rest of the year' from January. Did you specify whether that was calendar year or financial year? I can pretty much bet they took it at the latter, and effectively doubled it to get an annualised income.
