I was just looking into the Motor Dealers and Repairers Act in NSW and noticed that before 2021, NSW dealers were protected from UCT under the ACL while other dealers in other states may not have been? Before 2021 the Franchising Code of Conduct did not offer UCT but instead unconscionable conduct, Is this correct? Were there any other states or territories who also protected their dealers under this ACL part before 2021?
