So I see at a lot of events and even at my uni at the start there is an acknowledgement of country. My question is if these speakers are legally obligated to make this acknowledgement and if so what type of consequences would result from refusing to? All I can find online about it is how to make one or why its important to make one, but nothing about if one is required to make one.
