Hi guys, my partner has a unit that is part of a strata complex in WA. About a year ago he noticed a crack in the interior wall, strata had a look and said it was nothing but to contact if it got worse. The crack has gotten much worst and not goes through both sides of the wall, almost in a zig zag pattern across the brickworks from almost ceiling to wall. When he contacted strata, they replied saying they have heard back from the insurance regarding the crack and have been supplied a copy of the initial report. They have then said ‘ this is something we are not going to be able to pursue via the insurance’ and that was it. He has had his house about 5 years. As the crack is interior and through the brick work, should this be covered by strata?
