Hi, I saw a debate on a used goods sale site about how much you can sell an item for. Is it legal to advertise and sell, let's say, a USED iPhone for a high amount like $2000 when they sell NEW for much less (obviously no one will buy it. Just wondering if it's legal under Australian Consumer Law.) Thanks in advance.

Yes, this is perfectly legal. A person can make any offer they wish. A person who accepts the offer is able to do so if they like. The law does not prevent this and will give effect to the intentions of the parties. Whether or not anyone will actually respond and accept the offer is another matter. However, this will be governed by market principles and not the law.
