Trying to locate criminal court records and Judgement for an Appeal from Manly Local Magistrates Court to Sydney Central (or District?) Court in late 1969-1970.
Where would these be held (in State Archives?). Can judgement transcript be ordered once case details are known (hearing date, etc)? Or is an FOI request required?

I am suggesting to find the affidavit or responding to an affidavit and find the reference number. Or as you suggested FOI even then you will need to be either involved in the case, or you are the parent/guardian of a child under 18yrs old who was involved in the case.
