Hello, the ex employer has filed a form F53 - Notice that lawyer or paid agent acts for a person. The ex employer has a well staffed HR dept. with the Exec manager having a masters degree. Any advice on how to prevent the lawyer acting for them?

Not worth fighting.

Wellparks Holdings Pty Ltd t/as ERGT Australia V Mr Kevin Govender [2021] FWCFB 268 (20 January 2021) is unlikely to be of assistance.
