SA Question on Child Support Claim?

Hi

Can child support be claimed as soon as a judge declares a mother or father a parent through paternity proof or does both names have to be on a birth certificate before it can be claimed?

I reckon the court papework should suffice.

Once a court makes and publishes its orders declaring parentage CSA is able to act.
