After 2ND viewing at private home for 2ND hand car, discussed how to put on new plates with past owner then paid for the car after road worthy doc received and drove off. At Transport Depth NEARLY got the new plates handed over when agent said we had a problem. The previous owner hadn't surrendered the plates. I contacted the owner who didn't answer. I left a message but so far no response. What do I do if he refuses to communicate? What if he won't surrender the old plates? Even the road worthy looks dodgy! Any help or helpful advice out there?
