My ex is doing all renovations to our property. All work is being done without my authorisation and she refuses to discuss anything with me or even offer me quotes. She is also demanding i pay half the mortgage she occupies the premises (with my 2 kids which we share custody of 50 50) while i also pay for my own rent and living expenses. She is on over $150000 a year and i am on under $50000 a year. She is insisting that she'll just be reimbursed once sold... can she do this. .

She can demand - and you can refuse.
Yep. Though she doesn't decide on how much she is reimbursed. It is a joint decision or off to court.
