I parked my car in a local pub in a spot marked on the ground as patrons only.
My activities were not in the establishment itself but I thought I’d be right for a few hours.
When I returned to my car a tow company was there with my car sitting on top their tow truck.
To release it I had to pay a lot of money or they said they would take it ti a city depot where I’d would had to pay more so I have no choice on the spot but to pay it.
There are no signs anywhere in & around this establishment saying cars will be towed if parked there.
Is that legal, do I have any legal recourse here? Thanks!
