NSW Need Family Law Lawyer Accepting Legal Aid ASAP

Hi

Terribly sorry to post like this however I'm in dire straits I've tried everything I need a family law lawyer ASAP that accepts legal aid Grant need urgently in Dire need

I went through something similar last year and finally got help through Legal Aid, but it took a few weeks to find someone who'd take my case. While searching, I came across AML Whistleblower Lawsuit - Federal Lawyer during a separate issue I had—it focuses on whistleblower stuff, but maybe check their resources page or contact them. Sometimes they can point you in the right direction even if it’s not their main area.

Contact Legal Aid in your state directly and ask for either a reassignment to a different solicitor or a referral to a private practitioner on the Legal Aid panel. You are entitled to request a change if you are unhappy with your current representation. The Law Institute of Victoria or equivalent body in your state also maintains a referral service that can point you toward family law practitioners currently accepting Legal Aid grants.

Just Family Law can advise on your options and point you in the right direction if you need help working out the best next step. Community legal centres are another avenue and often know which local practitioners are currently taking on Legal Aid matters. If the matter is urgent, most courts also have a duty lawyer service available on hearing days who can assist short term even without a grant formally in place.
