Is it legal for a parent to go through there child's social media and search other kids and take that other child's status to the school principal to view and then the principal take a photo of it and confront the child with it and the profile was on private?

Hi

As far as the mother goes, I don't really see how the law would come into this situation, unless the mother's behaviour somehow constituted cyber stalking.

In term's of the Prinicipal's actions, this would come back to the rules or policy of the school around Social Media. Again, there is not really a legal issue here that I can think of.

Perhaps others have a different view though?
