Last August I had to replace the timing chain in my car. Fast forward to the August, the car starting making a funny noise when idling and then it just completely shut down.
Had to get it towed to our local mechanic and he had a thorough look through it. Turns out that the mechanic that replaced the timing chain also left a fuel disconnection tool inside one of the valves and that has caused it the completely destroy the engine.

Do I have a leg to stand on when it comes to getting the other mechanic the fix/replace the engine due to their negligence? We have photos, the tool itself and a statement from the mechanic that found it.
