Hi, I recently had my car in for a service and warranty repairs. The mechanic has had an accident on their premises resulting in the car being damaged reasonably badly, but is repairable. I have a loan car from them which is great, however I have owned the car since new and now I am concerned the car will have on its history reports that it was in an accident. I believe I should be entitled for compensation for loss in value of the car and the inconvenience caused. I would like to know how would I caclulate an amount of compensation? I may be without my car for over 1 month.

Thanks
