VIC Making a Vcat Statement of Claim?

I am just helping someone write their defence to a points of claim statement for a vcat tribunal case. The lawyer who has prepared the points of claim has made a mistake with the respondents of which there is two they have them around the wrong way. Making all the points of claims technically wrong. How would this impact the case? Should it be pointed out?
