I haven't seen my parents in 10 years and I don't want to ever contact them again.

I want to make sure is I am a beneficiary of their will or the person who sorts it out. Sorry, forgot the correct terminology. I want to be declared separate from these people. I want to know what paperwork I can do to make sure my name is not on their legal documents.

Hi Jacquie, I think there was a typo in your question, do you mean "you don't want to be a beneficiary or executor" in their will?

Hi Jacquie.

I have seen this question before. I'm afraid there is no way to stop somebody from naming you in there will. When they die you will need to relinquish any claim and request no contact.

You can't stop them from naming you. You can only reject the appointment or gift.
