VIC How to Get an Extension for a Restitution Order?

Hi,

I was given a restitution order, which is due to be paid later this week. Can anyone tell me if / how can I get an extension for this?

Is this a court order? If so, you can request the person you owe money to if they will give you an extension, but if not, you don't have an automatic right to an extension for payment.
