QLD Homework Question - Cyberbullying

Hi Law Forum,

Can anyone tell me if cyberbullying is illegal in Queensland, and if so, under what Legislation is it?

Also, what is the National Legislation re cyberbullying? Pretty sure it comes under the Criminal Code.

You might want to look at the federal laws about the use of a carriage service to menace, harass or cause offense, and start from there. Most of the states will have some form of mirror provisions to back up the federal laws. A simple Google search should give you some good starting points.

And your text book should have a table of statutes.

If you are struggling with this question you might want to reconsider your choice of course.

Or it may be you misunderstand the nature of this forum. You get advice and tips on your work, not answers to the question. ie We do not do your work for you but will comment on whether or not you are on the right track, and if on the wrong track, point you towards where you need to go.
