Hi,
I bought a Ford Falcon wagon 2002 with 220 000km almost 3 months ago to a retailer in North Adelaide. Yesterday I drove it to a mechanic because of a strange noise that it was making while driving. They call me today and it will cost me $700 to fix it but they also said that it was strange because the part that they have to change was wax and it is not the way to fix it, it is just a way to hide the deficiency of this part.
As it is an old car with many kilometers I have no warranty from the retailer but as it is most likely an hidden defect I would like to know what can I do ?
Thank you in advance for your answers.
