Hi.
I recently moved a few hours away. Whilst moving a lot of my stuff "dissapeared" & was unaccounted for. My former housemate is refusing to admit he has my belongings but this morning (knowing I'm hours away) he has posted them for sale on Facebook.
My question is can I get someone to pick them up on my behalf or will they get in trouble if he calls the police.
The items are worth just under $500.

Yes, but first take screenshots of everything that is yours.

Not sure why police would be called unless trespass or force is used.

Your friend can and should suggest that calling police would be a good idea so the former housemate can be charged with theft.
