Wanted to get an opinion whether I should sue council over negligence.
I had a really bad fall from a concrete reinforcing mesh of a broken curb next to a walking path / mulch (similar to a nature strip) in a council car park.
Needed to get some stitches in my elbow and has also put me back in my physio rehab program as I can't do a lot of my exercise at the moment. Other damages would potentially include scaring.
Is there anything I should do? I.e. contact the council or should I speak to someone to get advice whether there's any damages I can recover.
Lady noticed I tripped just from hearing the impact and said she would be witness if needed.
