A family member who is in prison now has had his car on my property for 12mnths now.. im curious if there is a particular amount of time that involves the item in this case a car where the ownership goes to the person who ownes or rents that property???

  1. Did you have an agreement with the family member where they were paying you to rent the space to store their car, etc.?
  2. If you are in NSW, the NSW Department of Local Government has a publication "Are vehicles trespassing on your land or blocking your driveway". It has a flowchart that you may consider reviewing.

Thank you for your response... no theres no agreement or contract in place and no xchange of money. Im in qld so im certainly curious now if its similar law as it is in nsw
