Can a restraining order be put against me under family law if my husband physically throws me out of my house? The property is in both our names. I left 3 months ago, but cannot live with anyone as I have no money or job.

G'Day @Tina
I understand that your family law issue is in Western Australia. A restraining order will generally only be imposed against someone where there is threats of violence (that is, a violence restraining order) or misconduct (that is, a misconduct restraining order). You can read more about the two types of restraining orders at:
http://www.legalaid.wa.gov.au/InformationAboutTheLaw/DomesticandOtherViolence/Pages/Default.aspx

The Family Law Courts website has some excellent resources on separation and divorce, including an article on separation that discusses practical considerations to think about: http://www.familylawcourts.gov.au/wps/wcm/connect/FLC/Home/Separation+and+Divorce

Following on from the Family Law Court's suggestion, please consider contacting the Australian Government's Family Relationship Advice Line or nearby Family Relationship Centre: http://www.familyearelationships.gov.au/Services/Pages/default.aspx

All the best!
