My ex husband has taken my 15 yr old daughter to the other side of the country where I can't see her. I'm worried for her safety and furious that he has done this. I don't know what he has told her, but she seems unable to see that he should not have done this. His family who have not been a part of her life in the past are keeping her from returning to W.A. I am out of my depth as to what steps to take. The Police, a lawyer?

    Hi Linda,

do you have any agreements or court orders in place regarding custody of your daughter? What has been the arrangement with her leading up to now?

No,there is no court order in place. She was previously living with my ex and myself and her sister who is also biological daughter to my ex and I.
