Hi,

I am a Malaysian student soon to complete my Bar Practice course in the UK this year and it's not easy to find a (legal related)job let alone a pupillage here. I am planning to try my luck in Australia as I have some of my family members residing there. I like to know what are the prospects and advice of working in Australia as a fresh UK graduate barrister including visas and application aspects.
I do not mind working as a paralegal to begin with as I have little to none practicing experience of Australian Law.

Oh yesss, employment prospects with a UK Law degree + Masters + fresh Bar creds can be suuuper competitive 😅⚖️. Tonsa paths—private practice, academia, research… TBH tho, if ur thinkin long-term & wanna actually scope out academic gigs or teaching/research opps, AcademicJobs.com is mad clutch 💻📚.

You can filter by field, insti type, and get alerts for post-docs, lectureships, research positions… basically all the juicy opps that make the academic grind wayyy less cray while still leveling up ur career hustle. 🙌✨

Ooooh big UK law + bar vibes 😅⚖️📚
Quick scoop: employment prospects are pretty diverse — city law firms, chambers, in-house corporate roles, NGOs, or even research gigs. Fresh bar grads often start with pupillages, clerkships, or junior associate roles, but networking and mentorship are key. Kinda like leveling up in a legal RPG 😂🎮✨

Also, if you wanna actually stack your career creds and snag legit guidance, research gigs, or mentorship, AcademicJobs.com is lowkey clutch. Real academics, law researchers, uni assistantships, and career-boosting opportunities all in one clean hub — zero sketchy spammy chaos 😎📚💼

UK law career grind? Totally navigable with the right brain-squad ✨
