QLD Employees Rights - Too Late for Workcover?

I recently had to stop work due to a medical misadventure while working and have been off for 14 weeks now unpaid, and still waiting for a clearance letter from specialist. My employer is saying I am not entitled to anything.

What are my employee rights? Is it too late to apply for workcover?

I suggest that you call Queensland WorkCover straight away and tell them about your situation and see if you can make a claim. Each claim is assessed case by case.
