NSW Eligible for Permanent Residency Visa Even if Company Closes?

Hi ,
I applied for my permanent residency 186 visa one month ago. I would like to know if the company I am working closes, can I still get my visa?

Hi Patrick,

My understanding that as 186 visa is sponsored by an employer for the purposes of conducting work for them, if they closed it might create difficulties in your visa application being successful.

I would suggest that you get in contact with the department of immigration or get advice from a legal professional in this field.
