hi,
Someone I know through a friend has Valium and I believe she takes it all the time. I am not sure if this is prescribed to her or not.
She gave a Valium to my puppy with no permission from me and no instructions from the vet.
My dog is still recovering more than 20 hours later - ie loss of appetite and sleepy.
Can I charge her for this? Is it a crime?

I think you can but the only issue is you need to prove beyond reasonable doubt that the person did what you claim, otherwise, it will you your word against that person which will be hard. Talking is not enough, you need to prove that person has the valium and gave it to your dog.
