1. I always drop off my kids and sets them down in the School Zone between 8:15am to 8:45am.
2. The routine is always to stop, let them out and off I go but sometimes I would need to get out of the vehicle to open the door and assist my kids who are 5 and 6 yrs old respectively.
3. I received a fine Disobey no parking sign (in school zone) and the ticket states start of offence 8:30am between times of 8:30am and 8:30am.
4. I asked for a review stating a. Explaining that I only drop off my kids and leave b. Asking for more proof as I am unsure if I did stay longer than the 2 minutes allowed to drop off. c. I stated that there must be a mistake because if you are allowed to drop off for 2 minutes, the ticket states I was I disobeyed the no parking between the time of 8:30am and 8:30am.
5. The review was declined and fine still stands.
6. I received a CAN. It is scheduled at a date where I will not be in the country.

My question is:

1. Based on the facts I stated above, do I have a chance here?
2. Do I require a lawyer here to assist me?
3. Can I change the date of the CAN?

Thank you.
