Hi, I'm in a de facto relationship of 4 half years, both my partner and I have children and separate wills before we met and other assets. We have currently moved into his property that he owns we have built a house, which I have contributed with all everything that is in house, financial and physically still working on it, to make it our home. my concern is if I die does any portion of this property go to my children? what if he die's, what comes to me and would his children have the right to tell me to move out?
Thank-u

Hi marief.
Maybe new wills and power of attorneys etc would be helpful? It can be difficult to discuss worse case scenarios in relationships, but it can sometimes help solidify commitments and expectations especially as you have just moved. I hope it goes well for you both.
