Hi I am on the carrabian cruise and my girlfriend and i had a altercation arguement that lead to be physical I did not assault her she assaulted me but we are both in isolation locked up in separate rooms with guards at the front and can not leave the room 4 days now what are my rights can they do this they won't let us out in till we port in 2 days back home in Sydney.

You basically can't do a thing. If they are keeping you locked up with guards, then you will likely be handed over to authorities at the next port or at the end of the trip.

I’m no expert on maritime law, which is a pretty specialised area, but generally the captain’s word on a ship is law - especially in international waters. If they’ve taken the view that retraining you is for the good of the safety of the passengers, including the both of you, then they have all the authority to do so.

Its so hard been locked up like an animal i have not seen day light for 5 days now onky thing keeping me sayin in my phone only internet works can the Australian police charge us as the argument/fight started in international waters how does it work

Probably, but it will be up to the captain. There's crimes at sea legislation in all states. Depending on the exact nature of what happened you may just be released as 'time served'.
