Hi. I loaned someone a 5 digit amount and we had a falling out. I have texts confirming the amount, and stating she acknowledges that it is in fact a loan and not a gift but no payment plan or time frame for the money to be repaid.

Will the texts with the amount, acknowledgement it's a loan and her saying she will pay it back be sufficient for any sort of legal action if she decides to refuse to pay?

My friend is in Victoria and I am in Western Australia.

No need for any comments like 'You idiot' please.

Probably yes. But as you can also ready see, getting them to pay is going to be the difficult part.
