QLD Cheated by Parents - View Grandparents Will?

Hi I was just wanting to know how I can go about seeing my grandparents will as I feel I have been cheated by my step parents saying I was only left my grandfather's ring when my grandparents were alive they told my that I would be looked after in their wills when they passed and they had never lied to me ever. Whereas the can't be said for my parents..

Hi Mark,

As a beneficiary of the will you do have the right to see the document. Who is the executor? Can you contact them and ask them for a copy?

If your step parents are the executor/s and won't show you the will, then you should speak with a solicitor as soon as possible.

And remind them the executors have legal responsibilities and can be sued for abusing their role as executor.
