Look if they put in a claim through small claims court you could expect to find out in a couple of weeks. You go in see the registrar and then a date will be set if you can't come to an agreement before the registrar. Probably a few months. I wouldn't expect you to receive anything. It's not worth the trouble for him to repair a window.
