Hi everyone,

My mother has passed away and left my brother and I as the residual beneficiaries of the estate - 50/50. The will also says that if my brother has died, but has children, my brother's children (mum's grandchildren) will inherit his share equally.

My mother chose me to be the executor of the estate.

My brother has told me he does not believe my mother is his real mother and therefore does not want any of the inheritance (disclaiming).
He has said "I'm not signing anything".
I asked him whether he wants to speak to his kids about receiving the inheritance and he said "I'm not speaking to them about this either. They're not getting it either and I'm not signing anything".

I don't know where to start!
