Employed as Casual, fell on own property on the way to car to go to work. Should I covered by workcover?

Hi Sandra,

The Workers' Compensation and Rehabilitation Act states that in order to be covered for an injury incurred on the way to work, you need to have started the journey. If you are still on your own property at the time the injury occurs you are not considered to have started your journey and therefore you won't be able to make a claim.
