My wife left at Christmas has gone and rented her own place. She has own bank accounts etc.
She left me to pay our mortgage for our farm and has not and will not contribute. I pay $585 week.

I have always paid for everything before and since she left. She tells me she might come back one day and to keep the farm payments up for our kids as it's where they grew up. Just wondering would the abandonment clause ever come into play and if so, what's the time frame?

Thanks,

When you say "abandonment clause", what is it that you're saying this in reference to? The property? The kids? To the best of my knowledge, 'abandonment' isn't a legal claim in Australian family law, but I might be able to clarify things for you if I have a bit more clarity about what you're asking.
