NT How Long will Supreme Court Decision Stay Online?

I got into some trouble in Darwin, Australia and the court decision or criminal record is available on the supreme court website along with when you search my name on google. Google has said they can not delete the search and I cannot find out who to contact in Australia to ask for this to be removed as in the EU we have the 'right to be forgotten' law.

Does anybody know who to contact or how long this will appear online? I don't want this to affect my job search as all employers have to do is google my name.

The content on that website is not published in the EU - it is published according to the law of Australia.
The EU's the Right To Be Forgotten does not apply to it.

All things being equal, it will be there on an ongoing basis.
I do not see any basis at law in Australia upon which you could ask for it to be removed.

It seems you will need a valid legal request. Not sure what is available to you in Europe.

I agree with Tim's post. Publishing court material is part of our legal system so it will remain published however you can see if Google will remove it from search results using European laws.

This would indeed be the case, if you had grounds to make one, which you don't.
Do I understand correctly that Google has already declined a request from you?

I note Google are appealing French rulings to remove links in search results.

Thank you for your answers! Yes, Google declined twice and the answer was it's Australian government "thing" and they can't do anything about it.

Also, they told me to contact with webmaster and maybe he can help me to remove it but I doubt it. In EU, you can make a request to change your full name to initials but looks like this is not the case with Australia.
