Hello, I have now assault case against my husband. It was a big mistake and because my English was not good I do not know what the police asked me and what I answered. Anyway, he is still in custody for 4 months and he now out on bail waiting trail although I retracted my statement and ask DPP to withdraw charges.

I am a pregnant woman and I need my husband and I want to back to live with him. He is bailed to Perth where his family lives, and I live in Canberra. I want to move to Perth to have baby there near my husband.

What do we have to do and if I move there and live together does that mean he'll breach his bail conditions?

Why would you want to get back with someone who assaulted you? You are better than that, next time he might kill you. Once a basher, always a basher!

Exactly!

We cant know your situation, however, if he has assaulted you and only you know that for sure then why on Earth would you want to go back to him and risk he will do worse? If you are concerned for your well being and that of your unborn child you should contact someone from a local social services dept.

All the best.

When I made statement, police ask me a lot of things I do not understand because my enghlish not good. And they did not bring my interpreter. So It was a big big mistake..
