I’ve had my work cover claim rejected for workplaces psychological injury for bullying and harassment. I’ve been through all the process of conciliation and the independent review team with rejected claim. This is unfair and I have been bullied for 3 years and I want compensation for how badly I’ve been treated and my whole life is ruined and they were all aware of how badly I was treated. I’m at the stage were I need a law to fight for me or what else can I do it make them acknowledge my claim or pay me out? I have no idea who can assist me moving forward. I was working in an aged care facility as administration Im currently still off with medical certificates of capacity my GP and other health professionals have declared me as totally impairment to ever work again. Any advice

I see it’s been a while since this was posted, but I just want to ask if you ever ended up getting clarification from the insurer or WorkCover about your situation? Sometimes they don’t explain everything clearly, and it can be helpful to ask for their decision in writing. I’ve had to do that before and it made things easier to sort out. Curious how it turned out for you.

I went through something similar and found it helpful to get legal input early on, especially around claim time limits and disputes with insurers. You might want to check out https://www.preszlerlaw.com/ — they’ve got useful info on injury claims and WorkCover-type situations that’s pretty easy to understand. It made the whole process feel a bit less confusing for me.
