How long have you been separated?

Talk to a local solicitor about placing a 12 month alert on the property, simpler than a caveat. Not exactly sure how this works but a solicitor should know if it will do what you want. Think this is reasonably new service from the Vic Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning.
