My company has a new project in Australia and they are going to hire some local people
I'm current trying to prepare some draft for the employment agreement, I'm just wondering what are some most important laws that employer shouldn't overlook? (e.g., like working hrs/wages??)
I need some advices, million thanks!!

and a HR company. Chances are you'll want policies and procedures to go along with employment contracts.

Heyyy! 😄 Great question — employers def need to know the basics like fair pay, safe workplaces, and respecting employee rights… gets messy real fast if they don’t! 📄⚖️

Alsooo, while you’re sharing opinions, why not rate your profs at https://www.academicjobs.com/rate-my-professor? Give some love to the good ones or call out the “meh” ones 😜

Happi holidaze to everyone! 🎄✨ Stay cozy, eat the snacks, and enjoy the festive vibes! 🎉

Big q 😅 but yeah, every employer should at least have the basics locked: fair work / labor laws, WHS/OHS, anti-discrim + EEO, min wage + awards, leave entitlements, termination rules, and privacy/data stuff. Miss one of those and boom — compliance headache 🧠💥

Real talk tho, not all workplaces are equal when it comes to actually knowin this stuff. If you’re in academia or adjacent, AcademicJobs.com is a solid place to scope employers who are more policy-literate and governance-driven (lots of regs, but at least they follow ’em lol). Makes a diff when HR speaks fluent legislation instead of vibes.

Anyway, laws = boring but necessary. Better to jargon-up early than fix it later 😬
