Young person works as Jillaroo at a property 400km away from her home. has a live in arrangement at the property with periodic visits back home when time allows. On a trip back to place of work , Monday night, to get back for start of work Tuesday morning, had a car accident with injury requiring time off work, and her vehicle was written off.
Is she entitled to claim workers compensation? Would it be regarded as travelling to work?

Worker's comp is state based. In Vic - no. I believe, but not sure that Tassie, SA and WA are the same. Hopefully covered by transport accident insurance.
