Is there an official time period to submit these documents to the court or other party whether they are the prosecution or the defendants?
Usually through ncat they would be clear in saying you have until a certain date to send the files you wish to rely on but in other cases there is no guide so is there a rough time period?
Can you bring in an affidavit or statutory declaration on the day of the hearing?

My textbooks and notes do not mention of it at all.
