I have received a summons to attend for directions for an Application by the Applicant who wants me to produce documents and bank records in relation to a business the Applicant had registered in his name. The small business was sold over twelve years ago and I no longer have any of the records in my possession. I have contacted the bank that the bank and they do no longer have the records. He has asked for any records I have and I have none. What should do.

Your question is rather obscure, but you can't produce what you don't have, so just attend and explain your reason for not producing the documents. Best to have supporting evidence to substantiate the fact you cannot access the records - get a letter from the bank etc.
